The UN Foundation, through its sister organization, the Better World Campaign, advocates in support of a strong, effective and fully funded United Nations. A strong UN is the world’s most effective voice for international cooperation on behalf of peace, development, human rights and the environment.  

Through the Better World Campaign, they advocate for a strong, fully-funded UN system. They encourage the United States and other governments to pay their dues on time, in full, and without conditions. They also work with senior international policy leaders to encourage collaborative solutions working through the UN to address “problems without passports” like climate change, terrorism, and nuclear proliferation.

The UN Foundation and the Better World Campaign build public and political support for a constructive U.S.-UN relationship. Their campaigns, including “Don’t Shut Down the UN,” “Price of Peace,” “Don’t Go It Alone,” and “On Day One,” mobilize a community of people who believe that the UN is vital to solving global challenges.
